All lds.org pictures missing

All of our ward pictures went missing today from the directory on both lds.org and the lds tools phone app.
Is this a known problem? Did lds.org disable/loose photos?

Does the rest of the member data load on the web site, and just the picture is missing? Or does the whole family fail to load? I have a situation where non of the information of a family with a newly-added photo displays. Our other photos display, although another newly-updated photo reverted to the previous photo.

For those missing all the photos for their units, please provide your unit number or ward and stake name. Newly added photos may be gone if they were loaded as part of the LDS Tools beta, or were in a window when we were deploying and backing off the recent directory release.

Good news. A problem has been discovered. The migration of photos from the old storage to the new photo storage failed for several hundred units. A fix is being quickly developed and the migration for those units' photos will be rerun soon. It will be smart enough to detect if a new photo has since been uploaded and will not overwrite that one. Thanks for your help in getting this figured out.

@CrocketDR: will this upcoming fix also fix some problems with newly-uploaded photos, or does it only fix the problem with units that had all their photos disappear?

You always have to sync LDS Tools to get any updated information; this situation will be no different. Just make sure the photos show up on the Directory on LDS.org, and then do the sync on the LDS Tools mobile app.
