When downloading the ward directory, there do not appear to be any options (i.e. downloading to excel). Is there a way to get the calling associated with the member? We are a young singles branch with lots of turnover and want to take advantage of whatever available tools there are in keeping up with the ins and outs.

Considering a very similar function was just removed from MLS, I wouldn't bet on any features being added to the directory download. The on-line directory is always up to date, and LDS Tools is as current as your last sync. You'd have to convince the priesthood authorities that there's a need for a excel file, which arguably is less handy and also ripe for abuse by uploading it to places it shouldn't be.

The ward leadership should be keeping track of the ins and outs. The Leader and Clerk Resources tool (LCR) allows ward leaders to get a list of members and their callings, as well as a list of members without callings.
