I clicked on my member number (just to see what happens); it brought up my membership number, but now I can't shut it off. I don't want that to permanently display. How can I close it out?

Just switch to a different view (Leaders, Organization or Households) and then back. Or close the browser tab or window and re-open. It will hide the number whenever it has to redisplay the page.
