I have a family in our ward that has 4 kids. All 4 kids show up in the MLS, but one of their kids doesn't show up in the ward directory. Any thoughts? Can't figure out how to fix this?

Where are you seeing the children in MLS? Do they have individual membership records or they just showing in the parents' records and in the household? The Directory does not show children without membership records. Just having the children show on the individual parent's records does not mean the children have membership records. Check to see if the children have membership records in MLS by searching Individual Record and not Household Record.

Just to add to what jdlessley said, the child might have a membership record - it's just not in your ward. You'd get the same result.

Likewise if a non-member record was created for the child (such as they were age 8 or older and weren't baptized when the name was recorded.) In this case they'd list in MLS, but not on-line.
