Non-presidency callings appear on the leadership printout

While researching a different issue, I came across some strange behavior in the printed Leadership Directory.

Some of the priesthood/auxiliary organizations in this ward currently do not have all four presidency positions filled. I verified this in CDOL and LCR. But when I print the Leadership Directory, it appears that it really wants to fill in four leaders for each organization. It fills in the open slots with callings that are in the appropriate organization, but are not even leadership positions (as I verified using LCR). I would think it would make mores sense to leave the open slots blank.

Yes, I just replicated for my ward as well. I think your reasoning is correct - it appears to be filling the empty leadership calling (e.g.: secretary, counselor) slot with the next calling in the hierarchy.
