While traveling in Spain, I've attempted number pus times to pull up a ward and or meeting house using an ipad. The website is terrible and completely useless.
Please update to allow for iPad uses.

Re: Meetinghouse locator
What site were you using? Maps.LDS.ORG?
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

Re: Meetinghouse locator
The problem that I've seen with going away from separate stake/ward sites is that there is only the often outdated or just plain incorrect information on mormon.org to find a meetinghouse while travelling. Since the only contact listed is the bishop, who might well be a bit busy on a Sunday morning, it makes it a bit rough to call and verify the right time when the website says they meet at 4AM. (That's since been fixed, but there was one listed as such.)
There are other callings where one might expect to get a call or email from a stranger (such as PR rep or emergency communications rep) which would also benefit (not nearly as much as the bishop could benefit from not being a human switchboard for a while, though) from limited contact info for certain callings being available to at least anyone with an LDS.org login, whether or not that person is in their ward or stake.
