Approval Process in Manage Photos in the Directory

Approval Process in Manage Photos in the Directory

Our ward clerk can approve photos when shown on New Photos that have been uploaded. However, several photos that have been uploaded by individual members into LDS Tools are shown in Manage Photos, but he can't approve the photos so that they appear on the ward photo directory. What is the secret?

There may appear to be a bug or a programming change that is affecting the management of photos. The first issue related to photo management has been the loss of those privileges by ward website administrators. I can only guess that some programming work is being done regarding photo management. We are seeing some problems related to that work.

If the clerk has not done so he should submit feedback using the LDS.org feedback link. He should also try another browser just in case the problem is browser specific. If he is using IE9 or IE10 he should check the compatibility mode and make sure it is not turned on.
