Member ID-Numbers

Why is my confidential LDS Member ID Number listed? Have tried but am unable to 'delete' it out of the Stake & Ward Lists.
The membership record number (MRN) is only visible to members of your household, the bishopric, ward clerks, and executive secretary. Additionally the stake presidency, stake clerks, and stake executive secretary can see the MRN. These same leaders have access to the MRN in MLS and the Leader and Clerk Resources tools on LDS.org. The MRN is not included when the Directory is printed.
Members can only edit the household phone number, household e-mail address, personal phone number, and personal e-mail address in the Directory. Members cannot edit any other data.
