We have a situation where a member has exhibited inappropriate behavior with children in the ward. The situation has been reported to the police, but we need to block his access to the ward directory.
This is a situation we have not dealt with in the forum. My first impression is to have the clerk contact LUS to see what they can do to restrict access to the member. But, since we have not dealt with this situation before I have no idea what they may or may not be able to do. An immediate solution would be to have his LDS Account deactivated. I presume the people at LUS may recommend that or even contact LDS Account support to have this done. We are treading on new ground here.
Follow jdlessley's advice and respond back to this post with your experience (for example, were they able to block the Directory only, or did the LDS Account need to be disabled, etc.)?
