Name in Church Directory

I notice in the ward directory that some people are listed with just their first and last name, or with a 'nickname' (like Bob instead of Robert) and their last name, rather than the full name that's on their Church records (as mine is). How do I make my preferred name appear in the Church Directory instead of my full Church record name?

Talk to your ward clerk and ask him to change your "Preferred Name" in MLS. He'll know what that means and how to do it.
