MLS to LDS.org directory - old data still present?

I am the ward membership clerk. Recently one of the ward members pointed out to me that the Relief Society leadership listing on the lds.org website for our ward had the names of the current and past relief society presidency listed. I checked the MLS system and only the current RS presidency members are showing as assigned into their callings; the previous RS presidency are all released within MLS.

Can anyone offer any advice why this might be happening?? Don't the MLS records just feed into the lds.org directory listings?

Thanks very much.

MLS doesn't feed directly to the LDS.org directory listing. Rather, it feeds into CDOL, which then feeds data to the directory listings.

Normally, I would give you the advice given in the thread Double entries in directory. However, right now there are some transition issues as CDOL has already made some changes, but the MLS upgrade to 3.5 needs to happen before MLS will work entirely correctly with CDOL. So it may be difficult to fix these kinds of problems at this moment, since the standard advice for correcting duplicate entries may make the situation worse until MLS 3.5 is released. See this post.
