I noticed that after the update on Tuesday that the quick scroll/search alphabet on the right side of the household directory listing is no longer there. Is this intentional or is this a bug? It is the same in Firefox, Chrome, and IE8.

It's intentional. That list only worked for people in the Americas and Europe using the 26 character alphabet. Once you moved to Japanese, Chinese or Korean characters it didn't sort correctly and was not usable. In light of that, we removed it.

I'm all for having great international products, but I have to wonder about the logic for that decision. You have a feature that's useful for something like 90% of the users and then you remove it because it doesn't make sense for 10%? It seems like it would make much more sense to leave it in place and just hide it for the alphabets where it isn't helpful.

Sounds like we are moving from the Law of Tithing to the Law of Consecration :)
