Visibility Settings

This is a first time post in the forum so please go easy on me. I am hoping someone more experienced than I can provide me with a solution to a persistent problem I am experiencing with the directory function on-line.

I have been going through the process of setting the status of members in our ward who have requested no contact with the church to "Private - Leadership Only".

For whatever reason I am unable to complete this request for some members as the system seems to just 'hang' indefinitely after I have clicked the "Private - Leadership Only" radio button. I get the spinning wheel icon but it just keeps on spinning!.. I have tried chrome, IE8, Mozilla just in case it was a browser issue, but this has not resolved the issue. There seems to be no pattern to the error, e.g. families, individuals, part-members, all members etc... It appears to be a random issue. I have also left it for a couple of days and returned, left it again and returned... still the same issue.

Any assistance that could be provided would be greatly appreciated. As a result of the issue it has turned a fairly simple task into a complex one...

P.S. I am logged in as the Bishop with the equivalent level of access to the Ward directory.

I'd suggest calling Local Unit Support when you're in front of a computer so you can go over it at the same time.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.
