Unapproved Photos: Thumbnail Only--can we have the full picture to approve?

In the unapproved photos list I often have pictures uploaded that are not close-up enough to see the person's face. I'd like to crop the picture, on behalf of the member, to show only the chest and up.
I can only see the thumbnail size of the photo in the approve/delete screen. The workaround is to first approve it, view the full image, download it, delete the one i just approved from the website, crop the file, and re-upload the cropped file. However, it would be a nice feature to be able to click on the thumbnail to view the entire image prior to approving it.
