Email to Ward Problems

I am having serious problems sending email to the ward. When I open the Ward Organizations list and attempt to send an email to a group, duplicate email addresses are placed on the mail BCC window and in the case of the Adult group, it creates so many duplicates it crashes the mail app and I can't send anything out. All of this has happened since they made the change from semi colons to commas separating the addresses. Before this, I was able to send email by editing out the semi colons and replacing them with a comma, but now all the duplicates filling the BCC window make this impossible. I did send this to Feedback a few weeks ago but haven't heard anything yet. I am using the Mail client on a Mac. Someone said I should try the Gmail client, but I can't figure out how to get the addresses into the BCC box..... ANY suggestions or help would be appreciated.

iPad works!

As a follow up to my post, I just tried sending an email to the Adult group using my iPad and it worked! Loving my iPad more all the time....

Just to add to the conversation, I also use the Mail application on a Mac. I do not have duplicate email addresses show up when I send out emails to the Adult Group. I wonder why it would do it for one person and not another.

I notice when I try it in IE on by PC, I can do a "select all", but I have to manually trigger the "copy".

I don't have a iPad, but did try it on my Android. Pull up the email list, press and hold until the selection marks show up, then tap the "select all" button on the bottom of the list (not the device's select all, are you may select everything visible).

While the entire list copied, when I tried to paste it into my Gmail app, it only kept the last email. So I'm not sure if that's going to work.

At least you got one email to copy and paste, on my iPad I did not get one.
I guess we will have to wait for a fix.

I just checked this thread to see there had been any changes and I noticed that I was able to use my iPad to send an email to all adults according to a post almost 2 years ago. Unfortunately with the new copy and paste technique for email addresses, this no longer works. I only wish directory updates didn't take away previous features.
