Directory Administrative Privileges

Last Sunday, I spoke with the Ward Clerk, and was told I was given "Website Administrator" calling in MLS, however, it's been over a week now, and I don't have access to the new directory. I have been given administrative rights in the old website, but that's it.

I've been working with the ward clerk to figure out what the issue is, and he suggested posting in here for help... any ideas as to what we did wrong, or how I can get access rights to upload photos to the directory?

Thanks so much!

The first thing the ward clerk should do is to log in to CDOL and see if your calling got properly transmitted to CDOL as a standard calling. If it is a standard calling, it will be in black text (custom callings are in orange text). If your calling is not in CDOL or is in orange text, then he needs to go back to MLS and make sure he is truly selecting the standard calling "Website Administrator" (and that he doesn't have a custom calling with a similar name -- or even the exact same name).

The first thing we're usually told when it comes to situations like this is to ensure that you are listed in a standard calling, not a custom one.

What do you mean by "access"? You should be able to "access" or view the directory based only on your membership.

Note that as a website admin, you'll be able to add photos, but not edit any profile information. If you need to edit profiles, you'll need to be called as a clerk.

Either he didn't Send/Receive or he didn't add you since you aren't in CDOL (other than as the gospel doctrine instructor).
