Bug: List of standard rooms in Meetinghouse includes YM/YW Room

Postby aebrown » Thu Nov 17, 2011 12:31 am

For locations that are specified to be meetinghouses in Settings > Locations & Rooms, the list of standard rooms includes a room called "Young Men/Young Women Room". That is an odd room to be "standard", since I've never been in a building with such a room. The YM and YW rooms always separate (and even if they are combined in some cases, that's irrelevant to my main point).

But a strange thing happens if you check that one box (after selecting "Choose rooms to be scheduled..." of course) and save your changes. Now when you go to schedule an event for that location, you see two boxes appear: "Young Men Room" and "Young Women Room". And indeed, if there are ever conflicts involving those rooms, they are displayed in the conflict list as YOUNG_MEN_ROOM and YOUNG_WOMEN_ROOM.

For every other room, there is a one-to-one correspondence between the rooms in the list of selected rooms when you edit the location, and the rooms you see for the location when you create or edit an event.

This problem was reported on the beta test forum (for those with access to that forum, here is the post); it was supposed to be fixed in 2.0.1, but is still not fixed.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

Thanks aebrown, we'll try again to fix this. Should be in our next bug fix release.
