Minor bug: Hover text truncated when title contains an apostrophe

Postby aebrown » Fri Nov 11, 2011 5:54 am

When you are in Month view and you hover over an event, the hover text shows the start time and the event title. For example, an event titled "Youth Fireside" starting at 7:00pm would display "7p Youth Fireside."

If that event is "Bishop's Youth Council" at 4:30pm, you'd expect to see "4:30p Bishop's Youth Council". But apparently the apostrophe is treated as a single quote that terminates the string prematurely, so instead you see "4:30p Bishop".

Interestingly, the hover text in Week view doesn't show the start time (why is that inconsistent? - the time appears in the main calendar view for each event in both Month and Week view) but it does handle apostrophes just fine; in the above example you would see "Bishop's Youth Council" for the hover text.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.
