hidden calendar/event can't find to fix problem

I'm the building scheduler. In the move to v.2 our 2nd ward Young Women calendar no longer exists on the left hand side of the screen with the other calendars. Events from the calendar that I created before the change do appear on the calendar itself though, but the YW leaders can't see it either, so they can't figure out how to add to it. I'm not sure if it's related but,
The cub scouts tried to schedule the kitchen for an activity, but there is an error that the 1st ward has miamaids using the kitchen and the 2nd ward laurels are using it. It gave a contact information, but I couldn't figure out what calendar it was on. I contacted the sister and she told me that she can't find the YW calendar and saw the same conflicts. These conflicts only appear when I try to schedule the kitchen. I cannot find the maimaid or laurel events on the actual calendar or on the reservation calendar in order to edit them since they are not using the kitchen. It gives this error for every Wed. night.
Sorry, there is something already scheduled. You must change the time or the location/resource(s) before you can save.

Any suggestions on how/where to find these events/calendars. Where in the above error does it give the calendar they are on?
I think when a conflict shows up, it should creat a link that the scheduler can click on to go directly to the even that is causing the conflict instead of having to go back to the calendar to find it. I though this with v1 too, but I never actually had any problems finding the event on the calendar. Now we are stuck with the kitchen scheduled every wed and no way to unschedule it.
