Repeating annual events show wrong month in details

We have a repeating annual event on the second Sunday of December. The event appears on the correct day both this year and next. But when I go into the Event Details for the event, in the Repeating section it lists the month in the "Occurs every" section as January. I have a few other such events, and in every case the month is listed as January when I edit the event.

When you edit the event, if you are changing something else (e.g., the description), and you don't happen to notice that the repeating month has changed to January, then when you save the updated event, it will indeed move to January. Definitely not what you would expect!
