New calendars in Pending status

I created 5 new calendars on Oct 18, 2011 and they are still in Pending status. I am the Stake Technical Specialist and an administrator. The Stake Clerk, another administrator, can not see the calendars. Whats up? Who can approve the calendars?

Any calendars submitted by a default approver should automatically be approved once created. This appears to be a bug related to approver rights.

Since it appears anyone can create a calendar, this could be the old issue of "is the calling recorded as a standard calling?"
