Calendar Event View

A couple of concerns I can't seem to work around:
1. When I click on an event on the calendar page it takes me directly to the editing view instead of just displaying the event details. While it's nice to have such direct access to the editing feature on that event I find that sometime I just want to see the details of that event without risking accidentally editing the event. Taking me to the event details and providing an "edit" link within the details window would seem to make more sense.
2. Speaking of the event details. When someone clicks on an event link in the calendar the details of that event pull up but the window containing the description write-up of the event is so small that it virtually serves no purpose. For example, I set up a "Quarterly Report" calendar with an event that shows up on the auxiliary secretaries' calendars. In the event description I wrote up all of the specifics of what each auxiliary needs to provide to the clerk. My fear is that the description is so small in the event details window that no one will even pay attention to what is written there. The event details should look more like an email dialog box with the immediate details on top and the description below.
Thanks!
And I really do love the evolution of the calendar and the advancement of all the LDS web applications.
If I can add just one more thing - don't forget about us Android users out here!
