New Calendar Email Notification Bug

#1

Post by techgy »

The change to Daylight Savings begins on March 13th this year, so we posted an event on the new calendar to that effect. It was posted on March 13th as an All-Day Event. I checked the box to send an Email notification of the event and then saved it.

A short time later I received notification of the event via Email as noted below:

Event name: Daylight Savings Begins
Event description: Daylight Savings Begins

Event date: Mar 12, 2011
Event time: 4:00 PM
Calendar name: Stake Calendar

I've done this twice and both time the notification goes out as March 12th with a 4:00 PM time even though it's properly entered on March 13th as an all-day event.

I'll be providing feedback, but I thought it might be worthwhile to note this in the forum as well.
Have you read the Code of Conduct?

Email Notifications list locations as null, null, null

Also, I had our stake admin set up our chapel with a series of resources (font, RS room, kitchen, etc), and sent an email notification about an activity using some of these resources.

However, in the email, instead of filling them properly, it came through like this:

Event date: Mar 19, 2011
Event time: 10:00 AM
Location: [name of my ward]
Resources scheduled: null, null, null, null, null
Calendar name: Ward Activities

I see no reason for the "null" identifiers, where the checkboxes are clearly set up for the resources we need.
