Google calendar still not working

Does the google sync work for most of you now? I still can't get it to function. I click on add and "add by URL" and paste the link shown (
http://lds.org/church-calendar/services ... ##########) and add it. Google then shows the message "Importing calendar from url..." and it shows the message indefinitely. No events ever seem to show.
