The one way sync to Google calendar stopped working for me because the stake calendar person migrated all of the stake items from the legacy calendar. Through process of elimination, I found out that ics file created from the sync URL contained carriage return characters in the DESCRIPTION field. If I remove the carriage return characters, Google can import the ics file.

I went to the legacy site and did an export next 12 months into iCal format and noticed that it strips the carriage return characters out of the descriptions.

Anyone know of a work around for this or is it already a known bug?

This must be a widespread problem and needs attention in order to ensure adoption of the new calendar. Our stake calendar has the same symptom. I'm seeing the newline escape character "\n" in descriptions.
