Eight months ago I moved to a different ward (in a different stake). Had my records transferred immediately. However, I continue to receive calendar-event notifications for the old building where I used to live. (Interestingly, the old ward that I moved from dissolved shortly after I moved.)
Any ideas on how to stop these notifications (without stopping notifications from my current ward)?
Thanks.
Brother Snow

Re: Stopping email notifications
The only way I know of is to visit the calendar on lds.org. That's supposed to trigger the calendar system into realizing you've moved and update the system.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Thanks for the thought. However, I've visited the calendar system many times since moving to my new ward; it's synced to the correct ward and stake. But I continue to receive email notifications from the old ward's calendar (which ward is non-existent).

I think the next step is to ask your ward clerk to help you contact the Global Service Center to see if they are able to clear it up.

I think the key is going into the subscription screen, not just into the app.nedsnow wrote:Thanks for the thought.
