Syncing Calendars

Good morning,
Does anyone have an idea as to how log it takes a calendar subscription to update for the one way sync? I found the answer as to how to go in and update my subscription to my new unit (I have an out of unit calling), but when I try to preform the one way sync, it still shows my old unit's calendar information. In the far left pane I have unchecked the calendars from my last unit and have checked all of the calendars from my new unit.
Thanks!

Are you trying to sync to the LDS Tools app, or to a third-party calendar like Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.? If you're syncing to a third-party calendar:

First, make sure you've used the toggle to subscribe/unsubscribe, and not just the temporarily show/hide checkbox. You can see the option to subscribe or unsubscribe by clicking the double chevron (>>) button at the top of the side panel.

Next, go to Settings (gear icon in the upper right) > Sync. You'll need to click the button to generate a new sync URL.

Finally, copy the new URL to your calendar program.

The calendar sync service limits how often you can sync – it will only check for updates every 9 minutes, if I remember correctly.

I think it's immediate, but you can only use the URL every 9 minutes. Changing the URL will not change that. If you try to pull data in less than 9 minutes, you'll get empty data.

In addition, I've found that Google updates when it feels like it - about once every 24 hours. Deleting and re-entering the same URL just pulls from Google's cache and doesn't re-read the data.
