Building Calendar Shared by 2 Stakes

We just added a building to our Stake which houses 3 wards from 3 stakes. We would like the calendar events for that building to be viewed by all the wards in that building. Therefore, is it possible for a building calendar to be shared by multiple stakes?

If they building is set up right in the FM database, all the wards/stakes should be using the same facility calendar - meaning that you can't schedule conflicting events. However, I don't know as it would allow you to see the details of the events - just that the facility is being used.

Keep in mind, that no one should be creating this shared location. It should be there automatically. Check with FM if it's not.

There used to be a write-up about how that worked, but it seems to be gone now.

Even if the building is not set up in the FM database to be properly connected to all the wards/stakes, a stake calendar administrator in the agent stake can assign the other units to the location, and it will have the same effect. Long ago, our stake assigned a couple of YSA wards in a YSA stake to one of our buildings that those wards share with a ward in our stake, and it has always worked properly to avoid conflicts.

True. The main thing is not to create a location if it is a church building. You can create other locations or resources, but creating a church building is guaranteed to result in duplicate locations and result in scheduling conflicts.
