I know the calendar has a feature to send email reminders to those subscribed to a particular calendar, but is there a feature which allows the same info to be texted?

Currently the system does not support text reminders. There is no word if this would be added or even when. Until the developers are told to do so by the brethren it is highly unlikely.

The current email system has know faults sending out the email updates. That will be first priority over adding additional features.
