Calendar will not populate

I have two members of one ward who are unable to open the e-calendar. When they click on "calendar" in the drop down menu of "My Account and Ward", the page comes up but all that they see is the circle going round and round, the calendar page does not populate. I wonder if this is an outdated browser issue? Which browsers are no longer supported by the e-calendar? Neither individual has problems opening the "Directory," also located in the "My Account and Ward" drop down menu on http://www.lds.org.

Could not edit previous message, but must include the following information for consideration of the problem:

For at least one of the members for whom the calendar will not populate once they have reached the calendar screen, this happens on both their home computer AND their work computer and in each case they are using the Goggle browser.

The are several display issues that have occurred with the most recent minor Calendar software update and they are being worked.

Calendar not refreshing

They may or may not be causing the problem you are seeing, which seems to be different because you are getting the spinning circle. But you may wish to read about them and see if there are any clues that may help, especially the one where a refresh/reload of the page seems to solve some display problems.

Hi, So I've gone through the suggestions made in the materials you referred me to with the member. He even let the calendar try to load for 1 hour but it never timed out, so he was never able to use the "refresh" option. I was able to find a series of questions from over the years on the forum about the calendar not loading and tried some of the ideas there. I've had him shut the system down for 30 minutes and power the computer back up, had him delete cookies and then had him check that he's not trying to use private browsing, but so far nothing works. What is interesting is 1) this happens for him on both his home and work computers, 2) on the home computer which he shares with his wife, his wife doesn't have any problems logging on to the the e-calendar, and 3) He's discovered he can log on the e-calendar through his Ipad, at least for now. Do you have any other ideas as I've run out. I'm beginning to think this Bishop is going to have to have his Ward Clerk or Executive Secretary put things on the calendar for him.

On Monday, the developers backed out the changes they pushed out on Friday. So I'm a bit surprised he's still having a problem. So it may be unrelated.
