v2.7 bug: week view event description duplicated

Postby dshep2020 » Tue Nov 25, 2014 11:30 pm

I believe this has been around for awhile and is not "new" in v2.7. The bug still exists.

I have three different events. Two scheduled at the same time. One follows immediately after one of them.

Event "A" starts at 2pm and ends at 10pm. It utilizes building "A"
Event "B" starts at 2pm and ends at 6pm. It utilizes building "B"
Event "C" starts at 6pm and ends at 10pm. It utilizes building "B".

So event "A" overlaps "B" and "C".
In the week view, the description of "C" is duplicated from "B" even though they are different events. The details are not changed, just the week view event description.

See how the event description is duplicated from the event preceeding it?

This shows how that event is different, event when the description is duplicated from the proceeding event.

Yes, this problem has been around for a long time:
The first link is from over 2 years ago, and includes a post where a Church employee said it had been logged "for consideration for a future version of calendar." But either that report has been lost or has still not become a priority to be fixed.

Yea, I was hoping that it was going to be fixed and still not. Darn!
