v2.7: Location events are more visible

Postby FlynnMichaelJames1 » Mon Nov 24, 2014 4:28 pm

With release 2.7 it seems that all members can see the location information for all buildings in the stake, so by default all the events that anyone has put in any calendar in the stake which have a location set show up for all members to see. Was this intended to be the case in this release? Either way it is pretty undesirable, we don't need everyone to see all calendars from all wards and all the private events and meetings that may be booked for specific rooms in specific buildings!

That functionality has always been available in the week view. The only change is that that information can now be seen in the Month view as well. So no new information is visible that couldn't be seen easily before.

Users can turn off the additional location information by unchecking the checkbox next to the location on the left side.

eblood is correct. If you have events that are suppost to be private they should be on a private calendar. Most things are fine remember only members of your ward can see them.
