Who is responsible for approving a newly created Calendar?

How long does this take?

After you create a calendar, its status is Pending Approval. An administrator must approve your calendar before it becomes active. Calendar administrators receive an e-mail letting them know a new calendar is pending. When an administrator approves your calendar, you will receive an e-mail notifying you that the calendar is ready to use.

To see a list of default administrators by their Church calling, see Rights and Roles.

Short answer: Who did the bishop (for a ward calendar) or the stake president (for a stake calendar) assign?

Welcome to the forum, mmaliwauki! So, get somebody assigned, ask them to approve your calendar, (see calendar help if needed, ) and get started calendaring! Until then, your calendar waits....and waits...and waits.
