Re: Adding Administrators on Calendar
I think some have reported issues if a "added by name" person moves out of the ward.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Re: Adding Administrators on Calendar
Can someone point me to a section in the handbook about WHO should/can have access to be an administrator on calendars?
I'm an STS, so I can administer the STAKE calendar, but in talking with the Bishop of my WARD, he is good letting me admin the Ward Calendar (currently, no one is using/updating the Ward calendar.)
I'd like to read something on the guidelines and best practices for calendar admins.

I assume you have already reviewed the Help Center articles related to the calendar?

Re: Adding Administrators on Calendar
Nothing in the handbook beyond the Agent bishop overseeing the building scheduling (translation: he calls a building scheduler, who contrary to past practice can no longer do all the scheduling, but simply oversees the scheduling.)dtavres wrote:Can someone point me to a section in the handbook about WHO should/can have access to be an administrator on calendars?
The Calendar Help page is as close to documentation as you're going to find.
The general idea is each unit, if not each organization, does their own scheduling.

Re: Adding Administrators on Calendar
Admins default to the callings that we think should have that role. You have the flexibility to add more, but remember it has the power to delete calendars. At times we have seen wards with many admins lose their calendars. You shouldn't add Admins as an easy way to add editors. Instead add editors to specific calendars. At the stake level they have even more power and can mess up your locations (buildings) if they don't know what they are doing.
