Another Calendar Time Change Issue

I see there are a few reports that people have made with the issue of the date and/or time changing on their calendar entries. My situation isn't exactly like theirs, so I have started another thread.

I live in Wisconsin, so our Time Zone is Central. My computer, phone, tablet, laptop is all set to Central Time. I have had a Stake Activity on the calendar for many months, since the Stake gave me the info. I received an email from our Stake YM's President yesterday, letting me know that the starting time for the activity has been changed from 5 pm until 5:30 pm. I thanked him and updated the webpage with the new start time. I synced my LDS Tools and it changed the time from 5 until 5:30 pm. This morning, I was informed that the calendar said the start time was 3:30 pm and what was up with that? I looked at my LDS Tools and it still said 5:30 pm. I resynced it and yes, it changed to 3:30 pm! As soon as I was able to, I got on my computer and changed the time back to 5:30 pm rather than 3:30 pm.

There were a couple of other changes that were made yesterday and I checked them and they are still ok.

Do you know what could be causing this?

Thanks,
Margie

When you did that, did you verify that you were still the contact person for the event? If not, then someone else moved it.

The fact it was a single event makes it sound like someone changed it. Please be aware that it could happen due to what I call "careless mousing", as the times can be changed by drag and drop. Most time issues are "off by an hour" and affects all events due to going in/out of DST. So changing one event by two hours is suspicious.

Also, even though you are the editor, the entire stake presidency and clerks are default administrators and can change events.

Yes, I checked before I updated the time and it still had my name for the contact info. At first, I thought possibly someone did what you suggested, but, that was not the case.
