Nonmember Editing Calendar

We have a young woman nonmember in our ward who currently has an lds.org account and when she logs in can see the calendars for our ward. She has been called to be a secretary for her YW class and so would like to be able to edit the YW calendar. I've tried to give her permission; I can add her name to the list of people able to edit the calendar (I'm doing this through adding her name, not her calling). However her name quickly disappears and she can still not edit the calendar. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

This does not compute. In order for her to be associated with the ward, she'd have to have a member number. Unless there's a functionality I don't know about, I suspect someone has supplied her with someone else's membership number. Needless to say, that's a no-no.

Or is this a "member of record" (typically blessed, but not baptized)?

I'm also surprised that a non-member would be considered for this position.
Handbook 2: 19.1.1 Leaders may extend a Church calling only after (1) a person’s membership record is on file in the ward and has been carefully reviewed by the bishop or (2) the bishop has contacted the member’s previous bishop to determine that the member is worthy for the calling and to verify that his or her membership record does not include an annotation or a comment about unresolved Church discipline.
