So I thought it would be a lot more of a process to sync my calendar, turns out it wasn't. Unfortunatley I have all of my stake and ward events on my own personal calendar co mingling with all my personal events and work events. It is a mess. I want to create a separate calendar for church stuff, but how do I turn off the sync going to my personal calendar?

Depends on what calendar you are using.

(BTW, I do have all my church stuff mingling with personal and work events - but I use subscriptions to limit them to events I will or might go to. I don't see ALL church events.)
