I am the Stake Asst Executive Secretary/Assistant Stake Clerk/Technology Specialist: My question is or request, I need access to all stake calendars as I take part in all meetings. Can I obtain access to these calendars, and if so, How?

As long as your calling(s) are recorded correctly as a standard calling, you should have default admin access to calendars at the stake level.

If you're asking about seeing all stake calendars, you need to go to your subscription page and subscribe to them.

If you're asking about getting rights to all the ward calendars in the stake, that's not possible.

I am looking to obtain access to calendars restricted to High Council and the stake presidency. I looked at the subscriptions and could not locate the calendars needed.

Those may be private calendars. As a admin, you should be able to add yourself by clicking on the "gear" icon, selecting "calendars" and then editing the calendar to add yourself.

Some of stake calendars are set to private and of those my Stake President has asked that I find out how to get access to them!

Were you not able to do the instructions above? Where did it fail?

I did attempt the instructions but the calendars I need access to are not listed. And cannot make changes to them. I believe it moreso that my calling does not allow access to those calendars, which they should or rather they should be allowed to be utilized.

A couple of possibilities:

When you pull up the list of calendars, what's at the top? Is it the stake, or the ward? Depending on what callings are currently recorded for you, you might not have access to the stake, or you might have access to both and you need to switch to "stake".

The other possibility is that the calendars you're looking for simply don't exist. They're not created by default. Or else they exist in a different system. Some leaders use Google docs.
