getting an error that says : "Sorry, data is temporarily not available for this application. Please try again later." when attempting to add a new administrator to the calendar. the path the gives me the error is Calendar>Settings>Administrators...
Has been happening for three days.

One of the problems that results in that message is server related. I experienced server side problems for the administrator functions of the Calendar on Sunday. Just loading the Calendar main page took quite a while. So if you had problems starting on Saturday the problem may be server related. On the other hand, I just checked and everything is running smoothly for me right now.
I have had this issue for several weeks. It is still happening for me today.
