That is interesting I just added myself to a private calendar using both my standard callings and my name with full edit/view rights. I did a test and could add/edit/view/delete with no problem. If the original post is referring to a private calendar, then yes, the easiest way to get your permissions restored for that calendar is to have another editor add you back in.
Just viewed my wife calendar and all the private events are grayed out and show title "private event". Just as it should be.Gary_Miller wrote:aebrown wrote:I did find something out though. This is the problem you are not a calendar administrator only a calendar editor. You will have to have an administrator and you back in as an editor. Our ward is not currently using the calendar and I am trying to train the leaders and members how to use the calendar. At any rate I deleted myself from the Elders Quorum calendar and now I can't get back there. I suppose I will have to get a member of the presidency to log on and add me back. I will of course have to help them do this because, like I said, they don't know how to use it.

I was the one who originally created the calendar. Could be a problem. Because I tried two other calendars where I did not have editor rights to and was able to add/edit/view/delete events.
