Week view: wrap event title text

Efficiency would be enhanced if, in the week view, event title text would be wrapped instead of truncated with an ellipsis. For example, in the following screen shot, there is space for the text to wrap:
WeekViewEvents.gif
WeekViewEvents.gif (3.93 KiB) Viewed 2007 times
If wrapped, I wouldn't have to open the preview text box to view the full title.

That would be helpful; there isn't always room to wrap, but when there is room it would be an improvement.

Note that another option is to hover over the event, which will show a tooltip containing the full title. That's much quicker.

Please wrap calendar event titles.

Each unit's annual report is directed to include "3. The unit’s calendar." When I went to print out the monthly calendar, I found many of the event titles trunkated and ellipsed, with several blank lines available below. I suggest that titles be automatically wrapped to the extent of the calendar cell.

When the events are trun..., as they now are, it makes the calendar much less valuable for historical analysis.

In Excel, this is a simple cell formatting click box, and a global fix. Hopefully the Church calendar back office program as similar functionality.

Thanks for all you do.

MY FACE RED!

So, I just printed out the pdf of the annual ward calendars, and found the printouts have the titles auto-wrapped rather than truncat...'d.

Well done on that.

It would still be advisable, I think, to have the digital calendar read out the same way, auto-wrapped rather than trun...'d.

Thanks again.
