Modifying event causes location to be dropped

This may be related to be bug in extending repeating events. In September 2012 I edited a repeating event (and all future instances) because the title of the event was horribly misspelled. I did not notice at the time but that caused the location to be dropped from all subsequent instances of that event. That caused some recent scheduling messes because the event still appeared on the calendar but the loss of the location allowed another event to be scheduled over it.

When the other organization modified the times on their event to correct the problem - also a repeating event - a couple of their events also lost the location on the event. Curiously, some of them kept the location correct.

This appears to be a bug but I haven't seen a simple way of reproducing it in the calendar.
