Calendaring compassionate service needs

We would like to make assignments and accept sign-ups for compassionate service needs. We would like to send an email with a calendar requesting the service on certain dates within the month and have the sisters respond by putting their name into the calendar slot. Then we want to send out the finished calendar to all involved so they are aware of the assignments. Do you have any program that will do this for us?

You could certainly post such a calendar on LDS.org, but the part where the sisters edit the calendar to accept a date/assignment probably would not work with the calendar on LDS.org. The church's calendar is meant to have a small number of people with edit privileges and a large number of people with viewing privileges. You could definitely have such a calendar, but I'd recommend having the compassionate service leader or presidency member edit/update the calendar when a sister accepts an assignment. You may want to also consider that some compassionate service situations are sensitive in nature and may not be appropriate for putting on a shared, ward calendar.

Since you posted in the Calendar forum I will address the scenario as it applies to the current Calendar.

The sign-up feature has been requested and discussed in other threads. Here are two of them:
Tithing Settlement and PPI sign up calendars onto LDS.org
Scheduling missionary meals by members? Is this possible?

There are no technology program solutions the Church provides that will handle this scenario.

You might want to try https://bringit.bz. Our Relief Society has been using it and it has been really helpful.
