View another ward's calendar

Our YW combine with another ward every week for mutual. Each ward plans every other month. We would like to use this calendar to announce the activities and location and we would like the other ward to see our posts for YW and us see theirs. Is this possible? What would we need to do to get permission to see their YW calendar?

Viewing another ward's calendar is not possible. You can, however, view all public events scheduled to use resources at a location. See the section titled "View Events by Location" in Viewing the Calendar. You would not be able to see events scheduled at "No Location" or "Other Location".

What would we need to do to get permission to see their YW calendar?

It is not possible to do this. Only members of a ward can view the calendars of that ward. In those situations where leaders are called to serve in positions in another ward or stake they can be added as out of unit members and then added with a standard calling position that gives them the ability to view their service unit calendars as well as their home unit calendars. But the situation you are trying to solve cannot use this method to view another ward's calendar.

Since stake calendars can be viewed by stake members, creating a stake calendar for the YW of both wards is an option.
