Some already scheduled events are not displayed on the monthly view. Why?

There are two things that you must do to see events on your main calendar page. The first is to subscribe to the calendars with the events you wish to have displayed. The second is the calendar must be checked to be viewed in the "Subscribed Calendars" box on the left of the calendar main page for events in that calendar to be displayed.

For more information see the Calendar Help. To view the calendar help click Settings (the gear icon in the top right of the page), then Help. If you need hands-on help, talk to your ward clerk or ward website administrator.

What are you using to look at the calendar? The question sounds like your looking at lds.org, but you've posted in the LDS Tools (which is a smart phone app) section.

I have checked the boxes for all of the subscribed calendars. The event in question showed up on the weekly view of the calendar but not on the monthly view. I am the building scheduler for the Thatcher Stake Center in AZ. and was checking the monthly view for available dates and times to schedule a new event, and missed the already scheduled event because it was ONLY on the weekly view and not on the monthly view of the calendar. I am looking at the calendar on lds.org.

The weekly view includes reservations as well as events. You can also view events at other locations in the week view. If you have a location, or multiple locations, checked in the "Locations" box you will not only see events for the calendars checked in the "Subscribed Calendars" box but also events at the location(s) checked in the "Locations" box. If the "event" has a gray time box and a white title box then it is a reservation and not an event.
