Auxilliary Presidents Lost Calendar Permissions

Several people in a branch in our stake said they did not have the ability to add events to their calendars. I had the clerk log in today and took a look, and strangely the presidents of several organizations were not listed as editors of their calendars. The counselors and secretaries were, and in all cases another calling was, such as Instructor or Compassionate Service Leader. It's as if the database key for the president calling got switched to another calling. I'm pretty sure no one in this branch changed these.

Note that by default, only default admins have rights to calendars. But it does seem unlikely that whoever added the editors would have consistently overlooked the president.

I thought when you went through the calendar wizard that it automatically gave the presidencies of each organization edit rights. It's been so long since I did it and that was at the stake level so I don't remember; I need to reread the help. This branch hasn't been using their calendar yet and has been pretty clueless, and for the most part hasn't had any changes in leadership, but I remember now the person who set it up and they moved away shortly thereafter. I have no idea if it's always been this way or not since they haven't tried to do much.

P.S. I just checked the help and confirmed that the default calendars created by the setup procedure include the appropriate presidencies etc as editors. Regardless however, it's possible that they were changed manually but it's just really strange.

Does or is supposed to? It's possible it has a bug.

I think a number of us skipped the wizard and dived and and created what we wanted.

I used the wizard when setting up our calendars and it added the presidencies as default editors to their calendars. It more likely that someone not sure what they were doing manually made a change. The fix is for one of the ward administrators to go in and add the correct positions to each calendar and remove the unwanted one. OOOOOrrrrrr if there is nothing on the calendars just delete the old calendars the use the wizard and reset the calendars up.

I guess we could have deleted them but we went through and cleaned them up one by one.
