Our RS President has been an editor (by calling) for some time now. Recently, she lost the ability to add/remove calendar editors. I ended up having to add her by name to restore her rights. Please advise.

Interesting. Except at creation time, I'd think that would be a function of an Administrator, not a editor.

But if you added her as a Editor of her calendar and that worked, then you need to check and make sure her calling is recorded correctly in the CDOL.

Our ward clerk verified that her calling, Relief Society President, is correct in CDOL. Because I had added her by name as a work around, she was able to go in and delete her name and save. After doing this, she lost edit privileges. So I had to add her back by name to restore her privileges. This is looking like a bug, should I report this to tech support?

Ask the clerk what color the text was in CDOL. If it was orange, then it's not recorded correctly. (That is, it's recorded as a custom position that never has any rights and not as a standard position which is what you're using.)
