Just started using the iCal sync functions. However when I check the info information in iCal for my Church Calendar is shows several days from the last sync even though I have it set to sync every day. What I have noticed is that I have to close iCal and re-open iCal to get the sync to work.

Sounds like an issue with iCal. The church can't push the content. It's up to iCal to request it.
