past ward members getting reminder emails

We have many ward members who have moved who are still getting our reminder emails for our calendar. Their records have been transferred, they are signed into their own ward websites, they get emails from their own wards---but they still get them from our ward as well. We've looked to see if there is an "obscure calling" they might have had they didn't get released from, they aren't on our records anywhere. Our website person just moved, but she couldn't find anything and the ward and membership clerks can't find anything. I checked the calendar and it's marked for only our ward (not the stake). And I've had one brother check his settings...but haven't heard back.
Anyone have any suggestions?
