Stake realignment

We realigned our stake and brought a ward in from another stake. The ward we brought in the members can't see anything from the new stake Calendar there in or the old stake calendar they was in? Any thoughts

How long ago? Those types of things can take time for CHQ to process. I'd guess it would be about a week from the time it was done - at minimum.

If it has been a while you might need to go into the calendar and add their Meetinghouse in the 'Locations and Rooms' area and assign their ward and the stake as 'Units using this Location' in the Calendar tools.

The meetinghouse that was brought in is assigned in locations and rooms. It has been since June this took place. I don't know if this is just a problem with some of the members from the ward that was brought in but one of the HC men who shows up in leadership in MLS cannot see any events within the calendar. Any other thoughts?

Well... it sure sounds like a bit of investigation might be necessary... If it is all members, or just a few could lead down different paths. I'd make sure you are solid on what the issue is...

Out of curiosity, has the members of the new ward showed up in the stake MLS yet? In other words, is the problem confined to the on-line system or does it include MLS as well? Has the stake unit number been updated in the ward's MLS?

Is the HC a "normal" member of the new ward, or is he an "out-of-unit" member?

Has this person actually logged into the calendar webpage, or are they just using LDS Tools or the sync? It's been noted in other threads that a member must log into thier webpage to stop notification emails from the old unit. Seem likely the same thing would apply to the tools/sync.
